Janome Narrow Pintucking Foot for 9mm Machines

To sew evenly spaced pintucking on soft, lightweight fabrics use the Narrow Pintucking foot on your Janome 9mm sewing machine with twin needles. 

Pintucks are often associated with Heirloom Sewing especially children's clothes and christening gowns, but they can also provide a whole new dimension to bed linens, table linens and other home furnishings.

Pintucks are tiny "false tucks" created by straight stich sewing parallel rows of stitching (stitch length 1.8 to 2,) using a 2 mm twin needle. Use of the Wide Pintuck foot with the 2mm twin needle helps to space the tucks an equal distance apart. The Wide Pintuck foot has 5 grooves on the underside through which the pintucks can ride as you sew the adjacent rows.
